DARNELL DAVIS

Darnell Davis’ home town is Detroit, Michigan where he attended high school at Cass Technical High.  His love for acting was discovered when he entered the Performing Arts Department to begin his intensive studies in acting, stage design, directing, Television and Radio production and every form of theater production he could get involved in.  Being cast in the productions of "Oklahoma', “South Pacific", “Inherit the Wind" and "The Lion in the Winter", motivated him to make a career of his passion.

While attending Eastern Michigan University, Darnell excelled as an intramural athlete. He honed his running abilities, lifted weights to strengthen and define his body and acquired his black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  His performances in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti areas of Michigan include the theatre plays, "The Pajama Game", "The Dutchman" and "Twelfth Night."

Hollywood was the next step for this talented performer. Once settled in the foothills of Los Angeles, Darnell joined the local theatre troop, THE WEST COAST ENSEMBLE. There he found a community to network, learn and mentor with friends and professionals working in the entertainment industry. As he polished his skills with acting, production and directing classes, he appeared at the WCE in the award winning play “Equus” directed by Jules Aaron.

Represented by JLA, The Jana Luker Agency, Darnell has performed in such shows as “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose”, The District”, Medal of Honor”, and the original pilot with the Jonas Brothers called, “J.O.N.A.S.”.

Maintaining a healthy life style, Darnell enjoys yoga, martial arts, biking, swimming, running marathons and is an active hiker. With a love for Sci-Fi and blessed with the additional talent for writing, Darnell thrives in the opportunities, gifts and creativity that comes from working in Los Angeles. 

Darnell’s devotion to acting is eternal and his gifts unmatched when it comes to bringing the character to life from the black and white print of a writer’s imagination.
